Rueben is about 70 lbs, very well built, great coat, tail and nice bone. He is a very dark, rich fox red in shade. He has an exceptional temperament, like my other boys, Ransom and Wager. Very good with people and other dogs, even annoying puppies. He loves to train and work for you, great attitude. He is excelling in upland hunting with us, quickly learning to use his nose as well as his eyes and is a fun pheasant dog.
Rueben finished his Master title at 30 months of age going 9 for 9 in tests over a 6 week time period, which also qualified him for the Master National. Rueben already has offspring titled in Hunt Tests, including Master Hunter and HRCH at young ages. He is throwing intelligent, trainable pups with great drive and noses but not over the top out of control.
He has OFA excellent hips/normal elbows, normal eyes (last tested 10/23/21) and clear genetic panel via Paw Prints, clear of EIC, CNM, PRA, RD/OSD, CMS, Stargardt, HNPK, SD2.
Rueben's sire, Chaos, is very accomplished across multiple venues. A Master Hunter in AKC Hunt tests, SRSAC in the SRS competitions and 3xGRHRCH UH in HRC. Rueben's dam is a SH with a Grand pass before her retirement. Both sire and dam come from long line of good looking working Labs that can live in the house too.
